BIG RED IS A 1954 AMERICAN LaFRANCE AIR FORCE CRASH TRUCK . IT IS THE ONLY MOBIL O-11A IN THE WORLD.
Thanks to Wildcat Cranes for moving Big Red from Arrowhead Services/Richie Brothers Auctioneers, Fort Worth, Texas, after being painted. She is back at her Home in the B-36 Museum a part of the Fort Worth Aviation Museum, 3300 Ross Ave Meacham Airport, Fort Worth, Texas. Big Red can be viewed -

THE LAST FLIGHT OF B-36J 52-2827 WAS "OPERATION SAYONARA", THE LAST OFFICIAL B-36 MISSION WHICH FLEW FROM BIGGS AIR FORCE BASE, EL PASO, TEXAS, TO GREATER SOUTHWEST INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, FORT WORTH, TEXAS, ON 12 FEBRUARY 1959.
